This Practice Group provides a family law representation that includes divorce, separation, child support and custody, division of matrimonial property and alimony, child adoption and other family related disputes. The Group also advises clients on the preparation of wills for both Kenyan and non-Kenyan assets and it also provides advice on estate planning and private trusts including trusts amongst other things for maintenance of property and children as well as public trust for charitable and conservation purposes. The department has a major practice area relating to the obtaining of grants of probate for estates including administration and vesting of assets handling contested litigious estate matters.
